Roanoke and Wedowee Police incident report
April 14th- 19th. All parties are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
A Wedowee man was arrested in connection with the theft of a vehicle from a Government Street residence.
According to the report from Roanoke Police Department, the owner of a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado reported it stolen around 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., Roanoke Police spotted the Silverado turning into Taco Bell. A traffic stop was conducted, and Daylin Trentay Birmingham, 31, of 1319 Main St. S., Wedowee, was arrested and charged with auto theft.
Two witnesses also reported seeing Birmingham in the vehicle earlier that evening.
