Thefts

A property owner reported on April 18 that someone had cut trees on his property on County Road 445 near Bethel East but did not pay him for the trees.

A 2019 Kabota zero-turn lawnmower was reported stolen from County Road 201 in the Center West community on April 16.

An extension cord and radio with CD and cassette player were taken from a yard on County Road 10, Newell, where the resident had been working outside on April 14.

A television was reported stolen from a residence on County Road 82 near Foster’s Crossroads on April 14.

A woman reported that she and a man had stopped at a residence on County Road 411 near Morrison’s Crossroads on April 14. He told her they would be staying there. While she was inside using the bathroom, the man left, taking her purse, cell phone, clothing, boots, pillows and blanket. The homeowner’s daughter showed up to find this woman outside the house.

A break-in was reported on April 14 on County Road 16 near Randolph Memory Gardens.

A handgun, volt ohm meter and socket set were taken from a residence on County Road 628 at Big Springs on April 12.

Other incident

Trash was dumped on County Road 495, a dirt road near Liberty Grove, on April 15.
