Thelma May Watts

(LINEVILLE) The funeral for Thelma May Watts, 71, of Lineville was Monday, April 18, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Bro. David Holcombe officiating. Burial was in Fairview Poplar Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Watts passed away Wednesday, April 13, at her home.

Mrs. Watts had lived in many states before settling in Clay County in 2011. She had worked at Ace Products for a few years, but mainly worked as a waitress at the Blue and White and other restaurants in her lifetime. She enjoyed going to church and being with her family, fishing, sewing and playing with her pets.

She is survived by her two sons, Steven Daniels and Joey Cox (Dianne), both of Lineville, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews and large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clatis Leroy Watts and Della Lucille Milstead Watts; daughter, Judy Wolski; sister, Mary Lou Preite; and two brothers, Marvin Junior and Leroy Watts.

Pallbearers were Steven Daniels, Joey Cox, Chris Hodges, James Hodges, Jamie Morrow and Brandon Knight.
