Randolph County Sheriffs Incident and arrest report

March 31st – April 4th. All persons in this report are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Arrests

Amanda Renee Brown, 42 of County Road 95, Woodland – first-degree theft of property – March 31

Christopher Jermaine Garrett, 47, of 172 Young’s Mill Rd., Lineville – failure to appear in court (promoting prison contraband and speeding) – March 31

Cheyenne Goolsby, 22, of 12 County Rd. 621, Woodland – obstruction of justice – March 31

Barry Phillip Waters Jr., 35, of 686 County Rd. 64, Woodland – first-degree burglary and criminal mischief – March 31

Carol Lea Whatley, 46, of 117 Price St., Roanoke – failure to appear in court (possession of a controlled substance and child support) – March 30

Angie Maranda Nolen, 35, of Ranburne – first-degree theft of property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia – March 29

Taylor Wayne Alfred, 32, of 4550 County Rd. 51, Woodland – breaking and entering a vehicle – March 28

Brian Keith Carson, 41, of 327 County Rd. 2151, Woodland- breaking and entering a vehicle – March 28

Robert Hoyt Putman Jr., 30, of Carrollton, Ga. – possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia – March 28

Benny Wayne Roberts, 54, of 109 County Rd. 823, Wadley – mandatory release violation – March 28

Andrean Dewayne Trammell, 32, of 211 Mulberry St., Roanoke – possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree promoting prison contraband and second-degree possession of marijuana – March 28

Incidents

A brush fire on March 30 spread and destroyed a dock on Ralph Boyd Road in Wedowee.

A fire on March 31 destroyed a white 2020 Cherokee trailer on County Road 2564 near Swagg. It was believed to have started in the bathroom.

A break-in was reported on March 30 on County Road 35 in the Broughton area. Another break-in was reported on April 4 on County Road 26 in the Broughton area.

A resident of County Road 699 at Taylor’s Crossroads reported on April 3 that her dog had been shot. Three neighbors had previously complained to the owner about the dog.

A 2020 Toyota RAV4 was reported stolen (along with a phone and bank card) on April 1 from County Road 2565 at Swagg.

A complainant left accidentally left a bag with a gun in it at the public boat ramp at Swagg on April 3 and the bag was stolen.

A resident of Monties Point Lane in the Auslin’s Chapel area reported the theft of newly planted shrubbery.
