Antoine Cornelius Montgomery, 43, of Carrollton, Ga. – failure to appear in court (operating a vehicle without insurance) and giving false name to law enforcement) – Jan. 19

Michael Durell Dozier, 46, of 811 Stanley Ave., Roanoke – failure to appear in court (sale of cocaine, distribution of a controlled substance and child support) – Jan. 18

Kendric Deonta Lay, 23, of Bowdon, Ga. – fugitive from justice – Jan. 18

Carey Phillip Taylor, 63, of 5041 County Rd. 16, Roanoke – failure to appear in court (harassment) – Jan. 18

Walter Lee Barsh, 55, of Opelika – failure to appear in court (third-degree domestic violence and possession of drug paraphernalia) – Jan. 17

Sheron Renea Berry, 49, of 2445 County Rd. 25, Newell – first-degree criminal trespassing and harassing communications – Jan. 14

James David Screws, 31, of 3551 County Rd. 5, Lineville – attempting to elude, driving with license revoked, possession of marijuana, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia – Jan. 14

Richard Junior Thomas, 62, of Anniston – failure to appear in court (third-degree promoting prison contraband and second-degree criminal mischief) – Jan. 14


The front bumper was stolen off a 1996 Chevrolet S10 truck on Jan. 23 on County Road 875 in the Malone community.

Barbed-fire fence posts and a roll of metal cattle fence were stolen from County Road 20 in the Lime area on Jan. 24.

Two dressers and two nightstands were taken from a residence on County Road 30 on Jan. 24.

A resident of County Road 82 reported the theft of a food stamp card on Jan. 24.

Other incidents

Property owners reported that a vehicle left the road and drove through a barbed-wire pasture fence on County Road 88 near Corinth North on Jan. 21.
