MONITORING NON-COMPLIANCE NOTICE
MONITORING NON-COMPLIANCE NOTICE
The Wadley Utilities Board is required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not your drinking water meets health standards. During January 2021, we did not complete all required monitoring for total coliform bacteria and, therefore, cannot be sure of the quality of your drinking water during that time.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.
The Wadley Utilities Department monitored the January 2021 drinking water sample on December 30, 2020. Due to closures for the upcoming holidays, the results met health standards but were not actually monitored in the specified month. Wadley Utility Department has noted that in the future when a closure occurs for a holiday that the drinking water will be monitored at a later date to ensure that the date falls within the specified month of monitoring.
