Addie Sue Wilson
On Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, Addie Sue Wilson passed away peacefully in her sleep at home. She was 99 years old.
Her celebration of life will be Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Rock Mills Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson has fulfilled her destiny. God equipped and empowered her in fulfilling every task set before her (Ephesians 1:4). God called, “Addie Sue,” and she answered, “Present,” leaving all behind. She was a dedicated wife of the late Ebbie B. Wilson and loving mother of three daughters and one son.
She is survived by her two daughters, Priscilla Brownlee (John) and Linda G. Curry; grandchildren, Linda S. Gilbert, John Moon (Marcelle), Willie Gilbert (Sheba), Jillian Newton (Tlay), Jerry Gilbert (Cynthia), Clarante’ Clifton, Marcus Beard and Shannon White (Fiona); 17 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
