Community Chorus spring concert Sunday

This Sunday, April 17, the Wedowee Area Ladies Community Chorus will present its annual spring concert. Since its beginning in 2007, the chorus has developed the tradition of two concerts annually, always free to the public. Over the years the group has performed a variety of styles–classical, traditional sacred, Southen gospel, pop, Broadway, folk. This year the program will consist of all sacred music–traditional, classical, spirituals and contemporary. The concert will begin at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary of Wedowee First United Methodist Church. Everyone is invited to attend. There is no charge, and there will be a reception following the program.
