(WOODLAND) Graveside services for Ruthie "Dean" Madden Holloway, 80, of Woodland will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Highway Congregational Methodist Church, Roanoke, with the Rev. Roger Florence officiating.

Mrs. Holloway died Thursday, Sept. 19, at her residence.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Holloway was born July 11, 1933, the daughter of Loyd Edward and Mattie Spears Madden. She was a member of Highway Congregational Methodist Church and was a presser at Lamar Manufacturing Company.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Bowen and Kenneth Bowen, both of Woodland; two brothers, Earnest Madden and C.T. Madden, both of Woodland; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Hollis Bowen; her second husband, Winford Holloway; two sisters and one brother.

Pallbearers will be Chris Smith, Terry Vordenbaum, David Gonzalez, Dustin Hayes, Jacob Terrell and Tyler Terrell.
